September 2017 has been a busy month for Apple. From an education perspective there are lots of changes to be aware of, especially concerning macOS High Sierra and iOS 11.
Good news for assessment apps (such as NAPLAN)...
Most notably is an enhancement to the Automatic Assessment Configuration in iOS11. Approved app developers now have greater control over disabling certain features for their apps, such as 'speak selected text', 'auto-capitalisation', 'Smart Punctuation' as well as 'auto correct and spell checker' - HT204775
